What are Merchant Services?

To put it simply, Merchant Services are the main reason how card payments are processed. Whether it’s online or in-person, this is all covered by Merchant Service Providers with the use of payment terminals and eCommerce platforms.

Starting your business doesn’t have to be complicated

When starting your new company, all the platforms and devices can seem overwhelming. It doesn’t need to be that way. Here at NetPay Merchant Services, we strive to make the understanding of information and process as smooth as possible for our merchants.

What is a Merchant Service Provider?

To put it simply, an MSP (Merchant Service Provider), helps a merchant process card payments online and offline – in a shop or an eCommerce platform for example. Merchant services provide the hardware and platforms for you to be able to process these card payments. This could include any of our products ranging from Castles to Clover and our computer platform called Revolution. Revolution is an award-winning platform originally developed by NetPay to aid the merchant service industry. The platform was designed to be the go-to place for service management, provisioning and reporting.

When someone purchases your goods/services in-store or online, the new age of Merchant Services allows this to happen purely online. An MSP would provide those gateways and levels of communication to the parties involved to ensure the money lands in your bank account. Using our platform Revolution you’re able to track those transactions and gain the full amount of information needed for your business to operate using your merchant account.

The products & services we offer

There are many different products an MSP can offer. It would purely depend on what the merchant would need to ensure their company runs efficiently, perfect for a small business. For example, if the merchant is purely a brick-and-mortar based ISO (Independent Sales Organisation) then they would only need a simple card machine with the system, Revolution. However, if a company needs more flexibility – a restaurant for example – they would more likely need a wireless system that operates using Wi-Fi or 3G/4G along with Revolution. The process to get onboard

We allow your business to adapt to the new age of less cash and to further future proof your business, especially with our newer more android based card processing systems. Only 20% of transactions are cash at this current time. Card transactions using both credit cards and debit cards are the way forward.

Fleximize member statement comparison promotion Terms & Conditions

This Promotion is only open to Fleximize Silver & Gold members within the United Kingdom who have authorisation to act on behalf of the merchant account being reviewed. Entrants exclude anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.

      1. Purchase is not necessary.
      2. Entries can only be made directly by a person with authorisation to act on the behalf of the merchant account.
      3. The merchant must be a current member of Fleximize.
      4. A maximum of one submission can be made per merchant account.
      5. To Enter, submit a copy of a merchant services statement to the email address provided by the NetPay representative or uploaded direct via the Fleximize landing page.
      6. Eligibility criteria for receiving the price beat rebate is based on:
        –  The statement submitted must be dated within the last month.
        –  The phrase ‘can’t beat your current statement’ refers to the merchant services rates listed below when compared on a like for like basis as a total including all fees.
        –  Rates to be reviewed include Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Electron cards only as well as all associated and ancillary charges.
  1. The Promoter may refuse to award the price beat rebate in the event of an entrant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.
  2. Rebate: £100 paid by BACS to the merchant’s nominated business bank account.
  3. The funds will be paid within 30 days of the Promoter confirming being unable to beat the merchant services rates on the supplied statement.
  4. By entering this Promotion, the merchant will be deemed to have accepted that they are bound by these terms and conditions/
  5. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the purposes of the comparison exercise and for no other purpose, unless we have your explicit consent. Your personal details will always be kept confidential and in accordance with the NetPay Privacy Policy available at https://www.netpay.co.uk/privacy-policy/
  6. The decision of the Promoter shall be final.
  7. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts or England and Wales.
